|| About MSc-Chemistry Course

Chemistry is the science of matter and the changes it undergoes. The science of matter is also addressed by physics, but while physics takes a more general and fundamental approach, chemistry is more specific. Chemical science provides an understanding of the physical and chemical properties of atoms molecules and a practical method of creating chemical structures. Usage of the knowledge for solving complex problems in various fields such as Pharmaceutical, biochemical and petrochemicals. This course deals with Chemistry as a major subject with more concerned with physical, organic, inorganic and analytical Chemistry. This course allows you to specialize in a specific field of chemistry. MSc Chemistry has a wider range of scope in various fields such as pharmaceuticals and various research-based industries. The course covers various fundamental topics in details. Some of the topics studied at the master’s level are organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, analytical biochemical, Electrochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Photochemistry, Environmental chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry etc. The course also covers research-based thesis and projects to enhance the knowledge of students. It also includes laboratory practicals which s must to understand the concepts of chemistry.Both theoretical and practical concepts are balanced to help students gain practical knowledge and skills, which eventually helps them to excel in their career.

The MSc. Chemistry program is designed for open and distance learning programmes to help people to develop a dynamic personality for them as this will help them to engage in multiple activities. For those who can’t afford to attend regular classes, and those who wish to pursue their higher studies but do not have the time to do so, this programme is very beneficial. At the same time, after completing this programme, this will increase their job opportunities also.
